Hello! I’m Deanna Girardot, the creative force behind Tranquil Interiors, my passion for design ignited at the age of 14. I was insatiable, devouring all things related to architecture and design. I went on to graduate from Sullivan College of Technology & Design in 1998, in Louisville Kentucky.

Establishing Tranquil Interiors in 2014 was more than just a business venture for me; it was a commitment to crafting luxury interiors that resonate with the human need for connection and comfort. Busy professionals and active families deserve a sanctuary at the end of the day, and my designs are tailored to enhance the way you experience your home and share it with your loved ones. It’s your piece of the world, let us transcend beyond the ordinary and embody the essence of livable luxury.

In June 2023, my husband and I fulfilled a long-cherished dream by relocating Tranquil Interiors to the picturesque Grand Haven, Michigan. This move marks a significant chapter in our story, and it's with immense joy that I now bring my passion for design to this vibrant community.

My summers in Michigan, anchored by my parents' place at Silver Lake Sand Dunes, fostered a deep love for West Michigan's beauty. The decision to support the communities along West Michigan's lakeshore was a natural extension of this affection. I am eager to create the backdrops for generations of memories and assist clients in navigating the challenges of hosting, all while providing a luxurious experience for their guests.

Living in Grand Haven has enriched my design philosophy, emphasizing authentic interiors that mirror the owner's personality. We all need spaces that not only reflect who we are but also invite guests in while still supporting our own need for self-care. Coming from a large family, being the 5th of 6 children, I understand the unique challenges that come with hosting at the lakeshore. I will use this understanding by weaving it into the designs I create.
